The Good Neighbor

Helping One Another in the Community

Practicing the Corporal Works of Mercy to Help Those Who Need It Most

The mission of the Good Neighbor is to practice the essence of true living through giving.  By applying  the Catholic Corporal Works of Mercy we will foster a community where individuals empower one another through acts of giving generously and selflessly showing compassion to those in need.

The Good Neighbor was designed so that anyone from all walks of life can participate in serving their neighbor within their community for the greater glory of God (AMDG).

"Bear ye one another's burdens; and so you shall fulfill the law of Christ." (Gal. 6:2)

We're a few volunteers working hard to help our community.

Some examples of activities our volunteers can help with include

  • Small cleaning jobs (dishes, laundry, vacuuming, etc.)

  • Yard work

  • Sweeping porches

  • Clearing leaves or snow

  • Washing outdoor furniture

  • Cleaning gutters

  • Visiting with elderly, sick or disabled

  • Rides: to the store (or shop for someone), doctor appts, or to Church
